during combat project zero Shawn works as a part time security guard who has a good friendship with a test subject at SE (Scientific Evolution) and is a very emotional person who is a highschool friend of Kevin and during the destruction of the SE helps Kevin out with Kiki which is vastly different from when they later fight zero but it doesnt last long as the whole place is falling apart and they are all almost too injured to fight and they dont see each other until about 10 years later at what remains of the SE which is Renamed to SR (Scientific Revolution) where almost the whole building is trashed and rubble and the place has been over run by failed past test subjects that are trying to spread an infection that almost makes someone zombie like making them lose all humanity and have a feral bloodlust and Shawn is working on a cure and has fought through hundreds of these infected when he runs back into Zero battering Kiki mistaking her for one of them, this causes a very violent fight between Shawn and Zero ending up in both of them giving up on the fight and Zero dissapears into the smoke. Shawn and Kiki try to find Zero but can only find what seems like hints
